The Black Activation Movement is a year-round platform amplifying African diaspora voices, culture, and entrepreneurship. Its flagship annual event, Black Activation Month, takes place in October in Amsterdam Zuid-Oost — aligned with Black History Month in the Netherlands.

About the Movement

THE BLACK ACTIVATION MOVEMENT – powered by TLA (The Liberation Army).

Founded and led by Bamba Al Mansour, multidisciplinary artist, organizer, and strategist, alongside Gbendembu Williams, the movement has delivered multiple editions of Black Activation Month and ongoing programming at the B/A/M/ concept space.

We create spaces historically denied, combining creativity, activism, and strategy to produce lasting cultural impact.
